Another May Workshop card

Good Morning Ladies!

Here is the second card I will use in my workshop next week.  I used the sketch challenge from The Paper Players

I wanted to use the new Flower Garden embossing folder.  I tried several different ways to use it.  I embossed it on Poppy but did not like that.  I tried using markers to color the raised areas but did not like that.  I thought maybe it would be better if I embossed in on white and used markers to color it but still did not like that.  So I decided to cut it out.  I mounted it on the Poppy and liked that.

Now I had to address the vertical element.  I again tried on several things but did not like any of them.  I finally settled on a white edge punched strip with some Baja Breeze ribbon.  I moved my sentiment to the bottom.  Here is my final creation.

I did not decorate the inside since I struggled so much.  I think it was the Poppy paper that just threw me for a loop.

Tomorrow is Sketch Frenzy Friday make sure you come back to see what I did for our challenge this week.

Thanks for looking and have a Great Day!
