Another Stamped Patterned Paper Background

I like using my stamps to create a background that looking like patterned paper. It is a great way to add color without adding layers. That is what I did on this card. I also used colors I hadn’t used in quite some time – Perfect Plum and Pale Plum – and I really like the finished product.

While checking out my blogs last night, I ran across a challenge that my card fit into. Love when you realize you did a challenge without know it. Cath is an editor of Paper Crafts Magazine and has her own blog called Moxie Fab World where she follows the current trends in paper crafting. To celebrate the kick off of the release of their Stamp It cards magazine she ran a contest with 5 different categories. One of the categories was creating patterned paper with stamps. I was so excited when one of the cards I created last night fit that category. Here is my creation for the category.

Hope you have some plans to stamp on this rainy day. Thanks for looking!
