Another Valentine Card

Happy Thursday!

I decided to make another Valentine card. I used the sketch from Tracy’s blog Eat Sleep Stamp.

I used a retired corner punch for the 4 corners. I also saw several years ago how you can slip the guard off corner punches to use on a straight sheet of paper. Whoever started this used this with the corner rounder to make a scallop strip before we had our scallop border punches. I decided to use this idea to make the white strip underneath the large image panel. The only thing you have to punch the edge of your paper before you cut it so you have a reasonable amount of paper to attach to your panel. To make the heart, I stamped it with Pixie Pink then using the writing end of a Basic Black marker I traced over the dots and 1 of the lines around the heart. I also sponged the edge of the circle to highlight the flower. Here is the sketch and my creation.
