Sorry for the late post. I couldn’t get a clear picture so I had to charge my battery. I think I need a new camera! Anybody have any recommendations?
Today’s card is for the sketch challenge at the Card Patterns blog. When I saw the sketch I decided I wanted to change the stars to another shape. I thought it would be fun to use a shape and stamp something on the shape. I looked through my small stamps and found a watermelon slice and some bees and thought they would be cute paired with my red gingham paper. In thinking about shapes I thought triangles would be fun to work with. I cut my triangles and then stamped the images. I thought the triangles were a little harsh and I wanted them to pop against the gingham so I sponged the edges. I also added some crystal effects to the wings of all the bees. I think this is a cute card. How about you? Here is the sketch and my creation.

Robbie this card is way too cute. Love everything about especially the idea. It looks just like a picnic with napkins. thanks for sharing. Sandy
Simply adorable Robbie! Love that watermelon. Such a cute take on the sketch this week.
Wow, finished inside and out. I think the triangle fit perfectly in the watermelon, so cute! This summer card makes me want to go to a 28c weather and not 8c. 🙂
Awesome job on using the sketch. It turned out quite nicely inside and out. Hope you have a great day! 🙂

Great job with the sketch Robbie – love the way you've created little sandwich triangles for the 3D elements on the card – very cute idea and it's a perfect match for your other little bugs on the card – love it!!
