Anything Goes Saturday – Christmas Wishes
Hello everyone – I used a card kit to create today’s Anything Goes Saturday – Christmas Wishes card.
I hope you are getting some ideas from Vicky and my Anything Goes Saturday ideas. Last week Vicky created a pretty Christmas card. I hope you checked it out. Make sure you check out her idea today to see what she created this week. You can find it here.
I ordered the Christmas Wishes card kit and had not had a chance to play with it. I decided to pull it out and use the flyer to make one of the cards. I did do some modifying as one of the elements was fussy cut from the dsp and it was pretty intricate. My friend Vicky shared a tip for fussy cutting that I will be using going forward. She said to cut it like a die would cut it – not cut out each individual piece. I also found this kit pairs well with Rococo Rose which has been retired for a while. Here is my version of the card from the flyer.

White – 5 7/8″ x 8 1/4″ scored at 4 1/8″
Rococo Rose – 3 7/8″ x 5 5/8″
Christmas Wishes pattern paper – pink washed pattern – 1″ x 5 1/4″
pink dot pattern – 2 1/2″ x 5 1/4″
pink striped pattern – 1/2″ x 5 5/8″
I love pink for Christmas cards and here is another beautiful pink idea. Here is another Christmas card using some other paper from the same company as today’s card.
The only Stampin’ Up supplies used for this card is the Basic White card stock. The other supplies came from the Christmas Wishes card kit from Uniquely Creative.
