Anything Goes Saturday – cute postage die card
Hello everyone – the Anything Goes Saturday – cute postage die card had some challenges – all me – but the card turned out very pretty.
After several issues with my ink blending I finally was able to get my card made. There were a lot of pieces to this idea but in the end it was worth it as the card is one of my favorites.
Today’s Project
I combined several Waffle Flower products I got on Black Friday to make today’s creation. I went with one of my go to color combos – blue and yellow – for the elements on this card. I had planned on going with a background scene but it did not work out that way. I ended up treating the middle shapes as their own individual scene. I love the butterfly and the flower dies I used on my card.
The butterfly and flower dies have some great detail lines when you cut them out. It adds some dimension and interest to the die cuts. The butterfly stencil that goes with the die lets you add color so it looks like a 2 tone butterfly. The flowers are small and they did not have stems and leaves but you can easily add them using a marker.

I have a couple of different postage dies. Here is a card using the other die I have. You can also think outside the box and cut your postage die apart and use the shapes to make a card similar to this one.
