The cute owl from the Windowsill Woodlands stamp set is so cute. He is the perfect image for a fun card.
Today’s Project
Unity Stamp Co had a great image that would be fun to use on a card to send to someone to bring a smile to their face. Unity Stamp Co had a fun sketch challenge that the owl make a fun focal image.
I used some pattern paper from the Simply Natural paper collection. The collection had some great solid patterns that were the perfect colors for the owl. The Waffle Flower cross hatch texture die was the perfect background for the focal image of the card.
Colored pencils are a great way to color an image. Using a lighter color than what you stamp the image in gives the look of dimension. Don’t forget you can cut your sentiment apart to make a different shape then the stamped words.
