Anything Goes Saturday – masculine Christmas card

Happy Saturday stampers – I stretched the interpretation for the Anything Goes Saturday – masculine Christmas card.
This card idea began with the color challenge this month at Not2Shabby. I wanted to use the lighter colors from the challenge but when I looked at the paper packs from this month’s subscription I could not make the lighter colors work for Christmas. When I looked at the other pack I found some papers I could make work.

Today’s Project
I felt the tree pattern reminded me of Christmas trees and the sprig pattern reminded me of sprigs you use to decorate your mantle. All I need was a general pattern for the background.

The tree pattern paper size was determined by the pattern as I wanted the larger trees to be on the paper. I loved the sentiment I used as perfect for the holiday season. I add a “Merry Christmas” to the inside of the card.

Looking for some masculine cards? Check out this one that used a stencil and could also be used as a Christmas card if you swapped out the leaves for trees. This idea would be great for a guy who likes the water if you changed the sentiment to be a Christmas one.
