Anything Goes Saturday – Not2Shabby Mood Board Challenge

Happy Saturday stampers – today’s Anything Goes Saturday – Not2Shabby Mood Board Challenge card used a challenge for choosing the elements of the card.

Each Saturday Vicky and I create a project to share with you. We typically shop our craft stash to create our card. Check out Vicky’s creation here.

Recently I received the Not2Shabby paper pad subscription and decided to play with their mood board challenge. Winter is one of my favorite times to create cards for. I love the sparkle and blue colors you see at this time. I was inspired by this paper to create this card.

Today’s Project

The mood board had a collection of 5 colors. I really liked the blues and decided to use them for my card. The blue glitter looking paper was perfect for the background. I used a piece of dark blue to ensure the paper stood out from the white background. The tag behind the ephemera is a piece of shimmer paper adding to the sparkle.

Some pattern paper was used to cut out a die cut I had in my stash. The pine needles were cut out of blue glitter paper. The fireplace was very pretty and that kitty looked so cozy next to it. It was finished off with some dark blue sparkly gems.
