Anything Goes Saturday – pastels
Hello Everyone – Today’s Anything Goes Saturday – pastels uses that large image and some chalks to color it.
Vicky has decided to join me for the Anything Goes Saturday series. She is creating some mini albums and I think that is what she is sharing. Here is the link to her video.
The pastels have been around for quite some time. Years ago we had them in a little tin. somehow in my move I lost them so I decided to get another set. This time they are in sticks and you only get a few colors.
Pastels are a great way to color a large image. Usually you color the image and then use your finger to blend the chalk. I am not a fan of the feel of chalk so I used a blending stump to blend mine. So nice and easy clean up as I did not have chalk all over my fingers. Once you get your image colored you do have to set it or the chalk will continue to rub off. I used a cheap hairspray to set mine. Here is the card idea for today.

I have used the pastels a few times in the past. Here is a card that colors the image using a Q-tip. This card was also colored using the pastels with a Q-tip.
Only a few supplies needed for today’s card. The image is from the Altenew stamp set Sweet Buttercups. #ShopYourCraftStash to find ribbon/twine and gems to use.
