Anything Goes Saturday – Peony stencil

Happy Saturday stampers – I was in a pink mood for the Anything Goes Saturday – Peony stencil card.
I pulled supplies from several companies for today’s creation. Even though you use different companies with a little planning they can all go together to make a great card.
Today’s Project
I wanted to play with a new all over die to create a background for today’s card. I love the soft background it creates adding just enough texture for interest. The peony stencil determined the colors I used. Peonies come in lots of colors and I chose to use pink for today’s idea.

To make sure the background is still highlighted a couple of stripes of pattern paper were added. The use of black is a perfect combination for the pink and sets the image off. To tie in the black layers some black gems were used.

I have a couple of all over plates that make a great background. Here is one I have purchased. This one was the first one I purchased and I love it!
