Anything Goes Saturday - stencil Hello

Hello everyone – today’s Anything Goes Saturday – stencil Hello uses several stencils for a fun idea.

I had a few products from my Waffle Flower Black Friday purchase and decided to use them all to make my card today. When I pulled everything I decided to go with a monochrome card using a teal collection of ink pads.

Today’s Project

I pulled the Sea Foam stencil and the Nesting Postage Collage Blocks stencil to create my background. I began with the postage outline stencil to create a border on my card panel. After I added the border, I left the stencil in place and masked off the sides. I placed the sea foam stencil on top and randomly inked the stencil to create a pebbled background. This was mounted onto a darker teal layer then added to the card front.

I used the overlapping hello friend die-n-stencil to create my sentiment. The stencil did not line up like I wanted so I modified how I used the stencil. After I had the word stenciled I fussy cut it out. Foam adhesives were used to add it to the lower right hand corner of the card front. I used 2 lighter colors of teal cardstock and the wax seal die to create an ephemera element. A butterfly from Paper Rose Butterfly garden die cuts was punched out and trimmed before adding to the wax seal with foam adhesive.
