Artistic Dies with Boho Blue
Hello Everyone – a clean and simple Artistic dies with Boho Blue card is the share for today.
Simple cards can have a WOW factor and it is easy. Take a piece of card stock and stamp a subtle background. Use a die cut in black for a dramatic effect along with a strip of patterned vellum. All you need then is a sentiment and some gems.
The inspiration for my card came from the sketch challenge at TGIF Challenges blog. I loved this simple layout and decided to put my spin on it.
The Artistic dies has great open line dies that you can easily cut apart for your cards. Cutting it in black adds a dramatic effect to your card.
The stamp set has a great stamp you can use to make backgrounds. The blob stamp can be used on colored cardstock with the same color ink to create a tone-on-tone look. That blog stamp is perfect for the subtle background.
The patterned vellum strip is a new product this year. Polka dots are a great pattern to an accent to a card.
That die is beautiful in other colors also. I used some gold foil and cut it out for this card. The blob stamp was used to create the design down the left hand side of this card.
Check your stamps and see if you have a stamp you can use with this idea. C.A.S.E.ing a card is a great way to practice your skills.
