August Workshop Card

I needed one more card for my workshop this week. I had seen this card on Splitcoast Stampers by slschaf771 and I have loved the Elegant Eggplant and Old Olive color combination since I saw Cottage Wall DS paper in the new catalog. I don’t have any of the paper yet (will be on my order this week), but still wanted to use the color combo so I used what I had.

I used Tracy’s sketch for this week for the layout. Like how it turned out but it may need ribbon. What do you think? Here is the sketch and my creation.

inside of card
Stamps: Simply Said Paper: Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive, white Ink: Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive Accessories: Watercolor vine wheel, Designer label – large oval – 1 3/8″ circle – Boho Blossoms punches, Distressed Stripes Cuttlebug folder, brads (Pink Hedgehog), sticky tape, dimensionals
Still haven’t forgotten about the Blog Candy. Pulling stuff so I can take a picture. Should post it in the next day or so. Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday afternoon!

  1. I like the card Robbie. and you know how I feel about ribbon. Go for it. A nice white bow will look just fine. Sandy

  3. Love the card Robbie. I don't think it needs anything. And you're right the color combo rocks!

Please email me girl. I have your prize from last week.

  4. Robbie, great looking card, really liking the embossing of the backgrounds, plays in nicely with the images, me thinks it is perfect the way it is; enjoy how you finished the inside too! Great job!
