Beautiful Framed Florets card with glycerin coloring
Hello everyone – today I am using the technique I used for our April coloring bundle tutorial with my Beautiful Framed Florets card with glycerin coloring creation.
Welcome to the monthly Inspirations in Ink Blog Hop. This month’s theme is Seaside Bay bundle. Thanks for joining us. I hope you enjoy my project.
You may be starting here – Creations in Paper – or have come from another blog – either way you can find the Blog Roll at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.
April’s tutorial is all about coloring. Each of us chose a coloring technique and created a card and wrote the tutorial for it. One of my favorite coloring techniques is coloring with glycerin. I love the soft look you get with using the glycerin and the added bonus is no lines! I chose to use black and white with my flowers having the color for my card today.
Look at the flower images and how smooth the coloring is. That is the effect you get when you use glycerin. The flowers on this card were colored with the ink pad. If you want darker colors use the reinkers.
Don’t miss that ribbon treatment! I actually used 3 different ribbons to get that look! Great way to use up your ribbon!
I have used glycerin coloring quite a few times. Check out the wings of this dragonfly that were colored with glycerin. The flowers on this card were colored with this method also.
As mentioned at the top this is a blog hop the links are listed below so make sure you “hop” around to see all the amazing projects on this hop. Click on the links below to visit them and see what coloring technique they used.

Stunning card Robbie. I love Pink & Black together & you have nailed it.
I am going to have to try this technique too.
Thanks Vicky! I love pink & black also. This is a fun technique.
Lovely card. How do you use the glycerin? Do you mix it with the ink and then use a brush to apply it? I really like the way your flowers turned out.
Theresa thanks! I did a video and put it in the tutorial. So easy to do.
Beautiful card Robbie. I will need to watch your video to see how this technique is done.
