Hello and happy Friday!
Are you ready for some absolutely fabulous cards today? I wanted to use the beautiful Bella Birds Designer Series paper. I used the paper to create the cards for this sketch set. I chose to use black with 2 of the cards to make the paper pop. The other 2 cards I used Chocolate Chip as the accent color. I used 4 different sketches to create today’s cards. Here are my creations.
The first card uses the sketch from Limelight Papercrafts. I had to incorporate a circle as one of the elements in the sketch. When I put the circle in the image it just was too plain. That’s when I wondered what it would look like if I tied my ribbon around it. After it was done I really liked the look. Keep this idea in mind if you have an element that seems to be missing something. Here is the sketch and my creation.

My second card uses the sketch from Paper Craft Planet. This sketch had an embellishment element that was round. When I looked at it I immediately thought of a flower but I knew everyone would go that route so I decided I wanted something different. I started looking through my embellishments and couldn’t find anything. That is when I thought of using butterflies. So I used my punches to create my own embellishment and I love it! Here is the sketch and my creation.

My third card uses the sketch from Splitcoast Stampers. I saw on one of my blogs I read they used black as an accent color for the Bella Birds designer paper. I really liked the look of the cards so I chose to use it as an accent color on this card. Here is the sketch and my creation.

My last card used black as an accent color also. It really makes the images pop. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday on this card. I especially like the ribbon. It gives the card an elegant touch. Here is the sketch and my creation.
