I have had this Easter image for several weeks and haven’t been able to use it. I did not have an acrylic block big enough for it to fit on. I had tried using a long block I had which took care of the width of the stamp but when I tried several options to address the height of the image, nothing worked. I had a friend I met on the Stamp TV forums for Maryland who has an online store called The Ink Paper Scissors Store and she ordered a 6 x 6 acrylic block for me.
I used the same fun striped paper that was on my card from yesterday. I also tried something different with the thin organdy ribbon for something different. After playing with the image, here is my creation.
inside of card
Stamps: Peeps (Whipper Snapper) Paper: white, Stripes PP (Sonburn) Ink: Pretty in Pink, Palette Noir Black Accessories: Almost Amethyst – Ballet Blue – Bashful Blue – Creamy Carmel – Glorious Green – Green Galore – Pretty in Pink – Real Red – So Saffron – Yoyo Yellow markers, ribbon (Pink Hedgehog), sponge dauber, sticky tape, dimensionals
Make sure you check in tomorrow. I did the Card Sketch A Day April Fool’s sketch which really was a challenge for me. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
