Birdie Dots and Chevrons

Happy Day to you my Friends!

Well the rest of the ladies arrive today!  I am so excited!  You will probably hear squeals from Salt Lake!  I am hoping to post pictures to share with you some of my adventures.  I will try and do it on a daily basis but a lot will depend on how well I can work the iPad for posting.  🙂

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week we have a small hop as many of the ladies did not get a chance to make a card with all the preparations they had for convention.  That’s okay as I am sure you will enjoy the cards that are shared today.

This week we had to use

Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry
                                              OR
Bermuda Bay, Tangerine Tango, Smoky Slate

I have to tell you Crushed Curry was not speaking to me so I went with the second set of colors.

Since I was in a time crunch I decided to look for a sketch I could use.  I have a page of sketches I ran across somewhere (could be from Splitcoast Stampers or Clean and Simple) and I found one that I liked.

There was something about this sketch so I used it to create my card for today.  Here is what I created.

I recently got the For the Birds set and thought this one would be perfect for this card.  Are you ready to see some more great cards?  Your next stop is Carol at Carol’s Cards to see what she did with this color challenge.

Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
