Birthday Blossoms by Stampin’ Up Card

Hello Everyone ~ I have a pretty Birthday Blossoms by Stampin’ Up Card to share with you.

Well I did my first Facebook Live yesterday.  It was not bad.  I totally forgot to start in landscape so when I went to do my card I had to adjust so you could see what I was doing.  I also have to remember the angle of the camera so you are not looking up my nose ~ sorry guys!.  I tried to set up my iPad so I could see comments as they came in but could not do that.  I am on the hunt to research this so I can get it set up for the next time.  If you missed it I will be doing another one ~ hopefully next week ~ and will let you know about it.  I am also toying with doing a Facebook Live Workshop.  What do you think about this idea?  If I do this would you want the option to purchase a kit for the cards?  Let me know your thoughts!

My card today began with the color challenge at the Sunday Stamps challenge blog.

I loved the colors of this challenge so I decided to play along. I began by stamping my flower and leaves from Birthday Blossoms on a scrap of Whisper White.  Then using the ink in the lid technique with my Blender Pen I colored it in.  I repeated the same technique with the leaves.  Next I took a panel of Whisper White and in the lower left hand corner I stamped the flower cluster.  I used the same technique to color the flowers.  This panel was added to a Basic Black panel.  I took a piece of Flirty Flamingo ribbon (sorry this is retired) and wrapped it around the right hand side of the panel from top to bottom and secured on the back with Tear & Tape.  Attach this panel to your Crumb Cake card base.  Use the ribbon to tie a knot around the ribbon.  The pansy punch was used to punch out the flower.  The leaves were fussy cut and then added to the back of the flower.  The flower was added to the upper right hand with dimensionals.  My Birthday Blossoms by Stampin’ Up Card is complete!
