I created this card for a challenge I read yesterday. You were to use black, white, and one other color. When I was looking through the catalog I ran across the Fresh Cuts set and knew it would be good to use – and if you are like me you don’t use this set often as you are unsure of what to do with it. When I began the card I also remember reading on the Stampin’ B’s Design Team blog they were doing a spotlighting technique (highlighting an area of an image by coloring it, and placing it in a shape so that the highlighted section has a border) challenge, so I began creating.
When I had finished my card and was looking for the blogs on here that discussed the challenge, I realized the black, white, and another color was for a blog that you had to use one of their stamps in your card. Since I had used a Stampin’ Up set it didn’t fit their challenge. It does still fit the Stampin B’s Design Team challenge. Here is my creation.

Stamps: Fresh Cuts Paper: Basic Black, white Ink: Palette Noir Black Accessories: Basic Black – Pink Passion markers, 1″ circle punch, Spica microflake black pen, ribbon (Michael’s), sticky tape, dimensionals
I thought I’d give you a sneak peek this week of a few of the cards from my All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack card kits. Here is the one of the cards.
This is the male birthday card. I based this card on one I had made earlier for an 85 year old gentleman.
Hope you enjoyed my cards today. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
