A Spooky Halloween

Today is World Card Making Day.  Take some time and make a card today to celebrate this holiday!

Boy I was really long winded yesterday.  I guess I was just so excited about my bath poof discovery.  I hope you all give it a try as it really is a lot of fun and creates a great background.  I think I like it better than sponging.  Too bad I did that card after I had created this one.

I pulled out all my Halloweeen/Fall stamp sets so I would have lots to choose from. I had these TAC stamps that I hadn’t used and decided to put them to use. I combined 2 of the stamps to create the scene and did a lot of sponging to make it a night scene. In looking at the finished scene I think I should have made the outer edges darker rather than darker around the moon. Oh well, that is how you learn by making mistakes.

I can’t believe we are talking about Halloween already. Before you know it we will be thinking about the “S” word. Well I hope you have a great Sunday tomorrow and if you get a chance do a little stamping!

Stamps: Scenery Set (retired) Paper: Ballet Blue, Basic Black, Green Galore, Pumpkin Pie, white Ink: Always Artichoke, Basic Black, Green Galore, Pumpkin Pie, So Saffron, Summer Sun Accessories: black brads, Basic Black – Green Galore – Pumpkin Pie markers, Martha Stewart bat punch, aqua painter, sponge, dimensionals
So, isn’t this just the cutest card? I love how it turned out. Check back later as I have another card that will come up when I am done.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!
