Bloom and Grow Glycerin Coloring

Hello Everyone ~ my technique share is a Bloom & Grow Glycerin Coloring card.

The Bloom & Grow stamp set is the perfect set to use for coloring.  There are many ways to color it but my favorite way to color an image is to use glycerin, your ink pad, and a blender pen.  I love using this technique as it gives an even coverage of your image.

Minimal supplies are needed for this idea.  You would need a blank clear block, some glycerin you can get in the pharmacy department of your store, an empty blender pen, and your ink pads.  I use Memento Tuxedo Black ink and do not have issues with it bleeding.  Here is my Bloom & Grow Glycerin Coloring video so you can see the technique.

Features of the Card

  • Bloom & Grow
  • card base ~ Cherry Cobbler – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Bumblebee ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″
  • Garden Green ~ 3 7/8″ x 5 1/8″
  • Whisper White ~ 3 3/4″ x 5″
  • Holiday Rhinestone basic jewels
  • Empty blender pen
