Hello Stampers ~ I played again with a stamp set and new designer series paper and came up with my Bloom and Grow with Peaceful Poppies dsp idea.
I was busy yesterday. I managed to make 4 videos and 4 cards. I also was able to complete the last 3 of my 12 Weeks of Sale-a-bration tutorial projects. I had them almost finished and just needed to put the finishing touches on the projects. I had also started the tutorials so now I just need to put the finishing touches on them and I am all set for the newsletters to go out. One of the other ladies has her 4 projects completed and tutorials written and shared. The other lady has 2 of her projects completed and the tutorials shared. I am so excited to be working with these ladies as they have great ideas and quickly get their parts completed. It will be nice to have the tutorials ready to send to you. Make sure you have signed up for my newsletter using the form on the right. That is the only way you will be able to get the tutorials.
The Peaceful Poppies designer series paper is so pretty and has some great patterns. I wanted to play with it but did not order the stamp set yet. I went looking in my stash and found a few sets I have that have poppies in them. I decided to use one of those sets on my card today. The Bloom and Grow stamp set has a flower spray that has poppies in it. I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo black ink and then used glycerin and Poppy Parade and Old Olive ink to color the flowers and leaves. Then using the coordinating Budding Blooms dies I cut it out. Since I was only using a portion of the image I cut off the part I did not want. I used the designer series paper that had the watercolored poppies all over. I cut a 1 1/4″ x 5″ strip of the designer series paper and mounted it onto a piece of Whisper White card stock. This strip was mounted onto a piece of 4″ x 5 1/4″ Poppy Parade card stock. This panel was mounted onto a Whisper White card base. The images were then added to the card front using dimensionals. Here is my completed Bloom and Grow with Peaceful Poppies dsp creation.

There are some great designer series papers in the 2020 Occasions catalog. Here is an idea that uses the Peaceful Poppies dsp with the Floral Essence stamp set. This card uses the Tropical Oasis dsp with a retired set. Garden in Bloom another retired set is perfect for the Best Dressed dsp.
