Bloom Tulips

Hello Ladies!

I am running way behind on this post.  It should have been up 5 minutes ago.  I will make this short and sweet.

For Day 18 of the Coloring Challenge I was going to use a piece I had colored before.

When I punched out my pieces I realized I did not have enough for what I wanted to do.  That meant I had to do something else.  I pulled out the same colors I had used and then used the sponging ink on card stock to create my coloring piece for today.

After I had my pieces created I wanted to use them to make some tulips.  I punched out my pieces and then I had to put my tulips together.

The whole card started with inspiration from the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

There was a stamp in the set For Peep’s Sake that I have been wanting to use with tulips.  This sketch was perfect for it.

I punched my ovals and put them together for my tulips.  I then added a stem and leaves and all I needed to do was put my card together.  Here is my inspiration from the sketch.

Don’t you love the tulip colors created by sponging on ink?  I love the look of the tulip bloom!

Thanks for visiting me today.  Make sure you come back tomorrow to see how I step up this card.  Have a Super Saturday!

Robbie
