Hello Everyone ~ I have some adorable Blossom Builder Punched Flower Buds on my creation today.
Well I am out of the apartment and staying at a friend’s house. Bijou has settled in. She had to do her usual sniffing around to check out the place. It was nice to have quiet place where she was not barking at everything she heard. It was also good to sleep on a bed and not a blow up mattress. I slept great last night which was the first time in a few nights.
Today we have a sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.
When I looked at this I knew I needed something for the little butterflies. I then started looking at my sets and thinlits and punches. I found the Blossom Builder punch that I had not used in a while so decided to try and make some little buds with it. After I had them punched I sponged the edges with Heather Highland ink to give them some dimension. I attached the 2 petals for the bud using a glue dot. I then used the star flower on the punch for the bottom. I just cut off 2 petals. The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set. I stamped it in Highland Heather ink and used the Layering Ovals to cut it out. I sponged the edges of the oval to soften the harsh edge against the Highland Heather panel. To add some more interest, I used the Basket Weave embossing folder to emboss a Highland Heather panel which I attached to a Whisper White card base. I then added the sentiment layer and the buds with dimensionals. Here is my completed Blossom Builder Punched Flower Buds creation.
