As you are reading this today, I am on my way to New York to visit my daughter. It is a long drive (7 1/2 hours) so think of me as you are enjoying your day checking out all the gorgeous creations.
Today’s card uses the sketch from a new website I found on Saturday. The Sketch Saturday Blog posts a weekly sketch. When I went to the website I really liked the sketch and decided to try it with the color challenge from the Color Throwdown Blog.
I am a card angel for the Chemo Angels Organization. The organization matches volunteers with chemo patients to send cards and gifts. I had a lady about 2 years ago and she graduated from chemo therapy so I took a break. I really missed this and wanted to do it again so I reapplied and was given another lady. My new lady’s favorite color is blue so I made this card for her.
To make my corners, I took a large square and cut it in half diagonally. On the long base side I used the arch lattice border punch and punched the edge. I then cut down the triangle to fit in the corners. My corner is 1″ from point to edge of triangle. Here is the sketch and my creation.

I just love this card. I love the flowers, colors, layout and especially the lattice corners. I really need to start using my inks with the color paper it matches. I never think about it. Beautiful card. Your new lady will just love it. Sandy
Another fabulous card Robbie – love those flowers and the colour combination. Gorgeous !!
