Blue Christmas using CutCardStock

Hello everyone – If you need another idea for a Christmas card, check out the Blue Christmas using CutCardStock idea.
I am working on using up some of my pattern paper and when I saw this Christmas paperI knew it wanted to use it. I search and found some Misty Blue cardstock from CutCardStock was a great match.
Today’s Project
I had some scraps of the pattern paper in the collection and decided to see if I could use them. It worked out perfect for the main panel. I also had a layer that I could use for the focal panel. Once I had the background panel put together the focal panel was the perfect accent.

I combined 3 patterns from the paper pack. I used a couple of light colored ones to brighten the card up. The ephemera pack has this adorable Santa which was the inspiration for the colors used. He was so cute that he had to be included. To finish it off some silver gems were added.

CutCardStock is heavy weight. It is great for treat holders like this idea. It also comes in a variety of colors making it great to use for the inlaid technique like this card.
