Bright & Beautiful dsp with Oceanfront
Hello Everyone – used an unusual combination with the Bright & Beautiful dsp with Oceanfront for this card.
Vicky and I decided to focus on some the pattern paper that is on sale this month at Stampin’ Up. This week we chose to use Bright & Beautiful with out projects.
I had this idea that I wanted to try. I was wondering if the Bright & Beautiful dsp would work with the Oceanfront stamp set. I pulled out the paper and chose one that I thought would be a great one to use with the stamp set.
My layout is card #2 on Kendra’s Card Challenge #10. I was drawn to the diagonal panel and decided to use it for today’s card.
This dsp has fun colors that are perfect for a celebration. Not one I would have thought of to put with a beach stamp set. Surprisingly it is the perfect backdrop for the beach scene.

Look at the beach scene with the dsp. Don’t they go well together!
Don’t overlook your pattern paper and stamp sets that may not appear to go together. Sometimes a great combination can be a surprise pairing.
Blue is a color I have used a lot with the Oceanfront stamp set. Here is an idea that used the Waves of the Ocean dsp. This idea uses teals for the beach scene.
I hope you enjoyed the Bright & Beautiful with Oceanfront card today. If you have this stamp set make sure you pull it out and play with it. You may find a combination that surprises you.
