Bright & Beautiful fun card
Happy Friday Stampers – I had some fun with triangles and squares for today’s Bright & Beautiful fun card.
This is the last of Vicky’s and my collaboration this week with Bright & Beautiful pattern paper/dsp. Make sure you check out her card by clicking the link above.
I wanted to play some more with Kendra’s Card Challenge #10 so I looked at her sketches in that collection. I was intrigued with the card and decided to use that one for today’s card. I chose a star pattern and a blue watercolor wash pattern to use on the card. I think the Night of Navy layer makes the pattern paper pop don’t you?

I didn’t have any current stamp sets so I pulled a retired stamp set to decorate the inside of the card and envelope with stars.
This collection of pattern papers has a lot of watercolor wash papers to use. I used one of the patterns for the background for the ladybug on this card. Did you see how I used a simple stamp set with the pattern paper on this idea?
Will you be trying the idea of using triangles and squares to make your card? Remember the square can also be a diamond if it fits your paper better.
