A Busy Afternoon

I am sorry this post is so late. I have had some fun this afternoon with several sketch challenges and my Halloween stamps . I have made quite a few cards that I will share with you over the next few days.

The first card I made was for Taylor’s sketch challenge. I loved the layout and while I don’t have cupcakes I knew I needed some more Halloween cards to send out so I decided to use those. I love this Halloween paper from the Holiday mini 2 years ago. I am down to the last of it though. Do you see those glittery dots under the spider web. Those are Glitter Dots and I got them from Gina K. Designs in several colors. I really like the look of them on the card. They add just the right “bling”. To add a little bit more sparkle I used the Stardust gel pen to highlight the spider web and the strings the spiders are hanging from. How about that ribbon! It is really yarn that comes that way. It is perfect for your spooky Halloween cards.

Stamps: Spooky Swirls (TAC), Fall Sampler (TAC), Spooktacular (TAC), Just Flying By (retired) Paper: So Saffron, Vintage Violet (retired), white, Halloween Nights DSP (retired) Ink: Palette Noir Black Accessories: Basic Gray marker, glitter dots (Gina K. Designs), yarn (Michael’s), Sakura Stardust gel pen, crystal effects (to glue yarn down), dimensionals
So, what do you think? Isn’t this just the cutest card? I have several others I will be posting tomorrow and the day after. Thanks for looking and have a great evening!
