We had a great day today. It was very busy and we saw a lot of beautiful scenery.
Today’s share are more pages from Michaela’s scrapbook. I have to do some journaling when I get home as I left my pen home. I also have more pages to add as I didn’t cut enough background pages. I decided to have the 2 pages side by side the same color so it would flow better. Here are 3 more pages.
Today we started out driving up the coast towards the North Shore. It was a beautiful drive. Here are some shots. The first is a shot of Turtle Island. This is where the marine base is located that I am staying on. The second is the waves in the ocean.
On our drive we stopped at the shrimp shacks for lunch.
We then headed up to the Waimea Valley to the botanical gardens and the waterfalls. The flowers were gorgeous. Lots of hibiscus in different colors. The waterfalls were gorgeous.
Then we headed to Turtle Bay to see the turtles. The waves were gorgeous and we did see some turtles in the water but none came out on the beach.
We ended out day in some shops on the North Shore where I bought some earrings. We then headed home as the rain was settling in. No sunset this evening. Tomorrow we are going to try whale watching. Hope we have better luck with the whales than we did with the turtles.
