Hello Stampers ~ Are you ready for some By the Shore inspiration?
Well how did you area do with the big storm? We were getting sleet last night as I was typing this. Our prediction was no snow – at the most 1″. That is fine with me. Once I see trees blooming and flowers coming up I am done with the snow.
My card today began with the sketch challenge at Fab Friday
I thought this would be a fun sketch to use some patterned paper on. I have quite a bit left that I would like to use up before the new catalog so I will be sharing lots of cards using dsp. I chose to use the By the Shore dsp today. I cut my panel and then layered it onto a piece of Calypso Coral. I knew I was going to use the gold metallic foil doily so I chose the gold glimmer paper as the strip to use behind the panel. When I laid all my pieces on my Soft Sky card base it was too plain. The Seaside embossing folder was used to emboss the card front to add some interest. Now I was ready to put my card together. Once the card was put together it was missing something so I pulled out the Thoughtful Banners stamp set and found a sentiment to use. I added the sentiment with dimensionals and now my card was complete. Here is my finished creation.

Thanks for visiting me today. I hope the weather in your area is okay and if you got a lot of snow you are able to stay inside and play! Have a Terrific Tuesday and I hope my By the Shore card inspired you today!
