By the Bay dsp with Season of Chic
Hello Everyone – in my Facebook Live I used several sets to create a quick By the Bay dsp with Season of Chic card.
Using the sketch challenge at Global Design Project I combined several of the pattern papers for a fun card. Love how you can use different patterns on this sketch. It is a great way to showcase the gorgeous papers.
This pattern paper is so versatile. I love how you can use it with any nautical/beach stamp set you may have.
When I added the paper to the card front it was missing something. I decided to add a background layer to the pattern paper and that made all the difference in the world.
I needed a way to address the vertical strip in the center of the paper. I saw the die in the Seaside Bay dies and thought it would be good to cut a strip and make it sand. All it needed was a sentiment and I added a die cut shell.
This set is the main focus of my online class in April. I have played with it several times and it is easy to create great cards. Here is an idea that uses the pattern paper with the crabs in the set. And I used the pattern paper that looked like waves with the lighthouse for this great masculine card.
