CASE card

My card for you today is for the Stampin’ Up Connections group I am a member of. This is a site for demos to share ideas and discuss issues related to being a demo. They have a weekly challenge there where they feature a stamper’s gallery and other members are to find a card in the gallery to case. This week the lucky lady is Connie Babbert.

I chose the card pictured below to CASE. When you case a card you need to change at least two things on the sample (color, stamps, add brads, don’t add something). On my card I changed the color, the stamp set, the piercing on the side, and instead of ribbon I used paper. For the paper in place of the ribbon I took a piece of 5/8″ Taken with Teal and ran it through the dots embossing folder. I then took a 1/4″ piece of So Saffron and ran it through my crimper. Instead of piercing the right side of the image I used the scallop trim border punch. I also left off the sentiment. Here is her card and my case.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card and why don’t you give it a try. Case our cards and use it to brighten someone’s day. Thanks for looking and have a Terrific Tuesday!
