This is going to be short and sweet when it comes to the card. My creation today uses Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch. Simple Black

Happy Monday! Today’s card uses some of my many patterned paper pieces. I have lots of patterned paper and I am always looking for ways to use it. Not all sketches lend themselves to using it but my sketch challenge today did. I found a color challenge at Color Throwdown where you had to use Bermuda Bay, Marigold Morning, Melon Mambo, and Wild Wasabi. I thought those colors would make great Petal Pizzazz flowers so…

Playing with the paper flowers

I have to admit I am not sure I like my results. I saw on several blogs these paper flowers and thought I would give it a try. You begin with a 12″ long piece of paper. You punch one of the long edges then cut the strip to 1″ wide. Run the strip through your crimper 3 times to soften the paper. Cut a circle (I cut two 1 3/8″ circles and one 1…
