Happy Wednesday!
I played on Sunday and made this card so I would be ahead of the game. I had class last night and time was short yesterday so I worked ahead. I do not have any plans for today so I will play today with a card for tomorrow.
I ran across a blog that I loved the artists work and she had a card that I liked the layout of. I decided I wanted to use the layout for my card so I needed to find an image that would work.
I wanted to do the the color challenge that Carole’ Anne and Sandi had. You were to use Certainly Celery, Cherry Cobbler, and Chocolate Chip. I thought of Christmas when I saw these colors so I went looking in the catalog and ran across the Big On Christmas set and knew the Happy Holidays image would work for the challenge and the layout.
I stamped the image with Staz-On Timber Brown. I then pulled out my markers and colored the tree and the word. I decided to pop the tree so I stamped another one to cut out. After I had the image colored I layered it and then had to do the pierced layer. I decided to do 2 layers as it looked better to me. Finally I needed a strip of patterned paper down the left side. I layered it and added some ribbon. After that I just needed to attach all my layers. Here is my creation.

So I have another Christmas card to add to my stash. How about you, how many do you have? Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
