Chop a panel for a fun card front

Chop a panel for a fun card front

Hello Everyone – wait until you see 3 ways to Chop a panel for a fun card front.

I saw a die from another company that could be used to cut a panel for an interesting pattern. I decided to try the idea in a Facebook Live. I began with a panel 1/4″ smaller than the back panel. My first cut was a diagonal cut from the bottom left to the top right. I then took the large panel and made a vertical cut on the left side. Using the larger panel I cut off a small rectangle at the bottom. I then reconstructed the cut up panel on the layer. Here is the first idea.

The next idea used the same first 2 cuts but with the large panel left I cut off the top angled piece and then cut the remaining panel into 2 rectangles. Here is what that card looked like.

For the last idea I took the first cut and cut off the top right corner. Then I made a vertical cut on the left side from the large panel. With the remaining large panel I cut a tiny portion off the top and then cut a large portion off the top. Once I put it all together this is the card.
