Christmas Pines ‘Tis the Season

Hello Stampers ~ I am at it again with my Christmas Pines ‘Tis the Season.

I got a lot accomplished yesterday.  Today I have to make a few more cards and I am going to the yarn store.  My friend is finally back working.  She was in California where her daughter had twins.  On their way back here, she fell and broke her wrist.  She has been out of work for a while.  I am looking forward to seeing her and catching up on all her news.

I saw a simple card online from another company and knew I could recreate it using our supplies.  I began by cutting a 1″ strip off the bottom front of my card base.  To the back of this panel I attached a strip of the Merry Little Christmas dsp.  I used the Pretty Pines framelits to cut out some pine branches using Old Olive card stock and the spikey framelits from Real Red card stock.  I layered them and attached to the card base using glue dots.  I used Versamark and gold embossing powder for my sentiment.  To finish the card I added a bow using the 1/8″ gold ribbon.  Here is my completed Christmas Pines ‘Tis the Season card.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I am still watching the weather for this weekend.  It will be interesting to see what happens and how much/little snow we get.  Have a Great Day and wasn’t this a quick and easy Christmas Pines ‘Tis the Season.
