Hello Stampers ~ need a Clean and Simple Embossed Card? Here is an idea for you.
Well I managed to get several of my wood pieces cleaned. I did not put anything in them as I wanted the oil to soak in and treat the wood so it would not get on the items I am putting in there. I am hoping to put some things in there today. I also want to wipe down my storage unit in my studio so I can start to organize my craft room. This morning we are headed to the Lion’s Club yard sale. I am looking for another twin headboard and a desk I can use as my makeshift office. Both of these I will paint so it does not matter what it looks like as the pieces are usually cheap. I also have my Facebook Live tonight so I will be setting up for that. It will be another busy day.
My card today is a quick and each one. I began by embossing the card front using the Tufted embossing folder. I used a piece of the retired Tranquil Textures designer series paper and attached it on the left hand side of the card front using Tear & Tape. A strip of Pear Pizzazz card stock was added on the left hand side of the designer series paper. The sentiment from Detailed with Love was stamped with Calypso Coral and then cut down. A layer of Calypso Coral was added behind it and then the layers were added to the card base using dimensionals. The Bouquet Bunch framelits and Calypso Coral card stock were used to cut out the flower. To add some interest, the edges were sponged with the matching ink. The center for the flower was created by cutting one of the cluster flowers with Whisper White and trimming off just one flower. Here is my completed Clean and Simple Embossed Card.
