Clean and Simple Falling Flowers

Hello Ladies ~ I am at it again with a very pretty Clean and Simple Falling Flowers card.

I am not sure what we have planned for today.  I am sure it will be low key as we usually take it easy the day after I get there.  Barb also knows how hard I have worked the last few weeks to get my house ready to paint.  You don’t know how much stuff you have until you have to pack it up.  I did a lot of pitching as well as creating piles to donate.  I will also be selling my retired stamp sets.  I will list them when I get back from my week visiting.  It will be good though to have a freshly painted house!

My card today uses one of my favorite techniques along with a color that I cannot remember the last time I used it.  I began by stamping my flowers using Berry Burst ink.  Then using the ink in the lid and a blender pen I colored the flowers in.  Using the framelits, I cut out the flowers.  I used the flower spray from the set and stamped it with Always Artichoke on Very Vanilla panel.  Some Berry Burst 1/2″ finely woven ribbon was added to the lower portion of the panel.  The panel was then added to a Crumb Cake card base.  To finish off the card the flowers were added using dimensionals and glue dots.  Here is the finished Clean and Simple Falling Flowers.

  1. Wow, so pretty. This is a really simple but elegant set. Love stamping with berry burst then coloring in. I don’t do that enough. It’s so pretty.

  2. Gorgeous card…..love the color choices! Not sure if I have that set but love it………your technique is wonderful! Safe trip home and best of luck with the painting……and yes, I do know how much stuff I have as I need to move it around toooo often…lol! Need to rid myself of many sets and cut back on lack of space!

    • Carol,

Thanks for your lovely comment! Things have been crazy here and stressful as painting did not go as I had hoped. Still dealing with them!
