Hello Everyone ~ I love today’s Clean and Simple Thinking of You creation today.
I managed to get 3 cards and 1 video made yesterday. I had an appointment in the middle of the day so I just did a few things in the morning. After I got home I hit my studio and started working on the things I need for the rest of this week. It was nice to take my time and create. I then took some time to make my pumpkin pie filling. I love the filling from a pumpkin pie by itself. I don’t have to have the pie crust. So I made up a batch last night so I would have some to eat. I still put the Cool Whip on Top but would prefer Whipped Cream. I think the next batch I make I will get some Whipped Cream instead of Cool Whip. It was a great dessert!
I had a sketch I had taken a picture of before I went to California. I loved the simplicity of the sketch so I decided to see what I could do with it. I began by choosing my stamp set. I opted to use the flowers in the Perennial Birthday. I stamped the flower with the leaves and sprig using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. Then using Blackberry Bliss and Mossy Meadow ink and glycerin I colored the flowers and set them aside to dry. The sketch had a diamond shape so I went looking for sentiment I could use in the diamond shape. The perfect one was in Seaside Notions. I cut my 2″ x 2″ square and turned it to make a diamond. The sentiment was then stamped using Blackberry Bliss. I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss at 2 1/4″ x 2 1/4″. I had a panel of 4″ x 5 1/4″ of Whisper White and embossed it using the Subtle embossing folder. This panel was then mounted onto a Blackberry Bliss card base using Tear & Tape. Next add the Blackberry Bliss card stock in a diamond shape to the lower left hand portion of the card front. The Perennial Essence designer series paper was cut at 1″ x 4 1/4″ then the end was flagged using the Banner Triple punch. This strip was mounted across the center of the diamond. The sentiment diamond was then added to the Blackberry Bliss diamond making sure the side were equal. The colored flowers were then cut out and added to the card front using dimensionals. Here is the completed Clean and Simple Thinking of You creation.

Clean and Simple cards are very pretty. Check out this card that uses the First Frost stamp set. How about this daisy idea for one that uses designer series paper. If you like embossing, here is an idea that uses embossing on the background.
