Clear embossing on colored card stock

Happy Friday Stampers – You can create your own shiny paper by Clear embossing on colored card stock.

In continuing with my You Tube embossing series I decided to do a long forgotten technique. One of the first techniques you try when you start embossing is stamping an image on colored card stock with Versamark and heat setting it using clear embossing powder. This is a great way to add some pattern and shine to your paper. For today’s card I used the butterfly from Spotlight on Nature for this technique. I love the shine and interest it created on this card.

I have used the Spotlight on Nature bundle quite a bit. Check out this fun card where ink blending was used to create the background. This card uses the image for another easy technique.
