Did you miss us last week? I am trying to get everything straight before I leave for my trip to Italy. There is always a million things to do before the big day. I am going to try and make cards before I go so that I can have something for you to look at while I am traveling the roads with my girls.
Today’s challenge Candice and I decided to use Tempting Turquoise. We could then choose whatever other colors to go with it. VerveVisual is having a contest to win some spending money in their store. They gave you an inspirational piece to begin and you could go from there. When I was the pillows the first thing I thought of was all the beading. Well the wheels started turning and I wanted to create a cards with beads on it. Now I bet you are all thinking I used sticky tape and just attached the beads. Wrong! I used wire and strung the beads on the wire. Then I poked holes in the cardstock around the inside and outside of the design and ran the wire through them. The challenge was the fact that each line of the design has a separate wire running from one hole to the other. Once I figured out a system it wasn’t bad. I really like how it looks, but I bet you are all saying “This girl has too much time on her hands!” Not really just every once in a while I get these “fabulous ideas” and need to follow through with them. lol
So, is your curiousity really peaked? Are you ready to see this masterpiece? Here it is! You can all post a comment and tell me how creative I am. I won’t let it go to my head! 🙂

Stamps: Fancy Florals Remixed, Seeing Stars, Thoughtful Florals (all from Verve Visual) Paper: Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise, White Ink: Summer Sun, Tempting Turquoise Accessories: Summer Sun and Tempting Turquoise markers, 24 guage wire, beads, Crafter’s Tool Kit, sticky tape, sponges, dimensionals.
Well I hope you enjoyed this card. Someone really special will get it as it took a lot of time. Have a great Monday!
