Coloring Down the Lines – Garden Green

Good Morning Stampers!

Well it has been a hectic week here.  I am finishing up my observations as well as working on my graduate classes.  Knowing that I took the simple way out this week.

Our challenge this week was to Garden Green.  Our choices were

Garden Green, More Mustard, and Chocolate Chip

OR

Garden Green, Bashful Blue, and Tangerine Tango

I went with the first set of colors and combined it with the challenge at Red Hot Stampers Sketch Challenge

I decided to try cutting the Chevron embossing folder on the zigzags for the wavy element of the sketch.  I also moved the buttons to the upper corner as they were lost in the lower one.  Here is my creation.

So what do you think?  Did I do okay with the simple design today?  Are you ready to see what the other ladies did with the colors?  Hop on over to Carol’s blog – Carol’s cards to see what she did with the colors.  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
