Coloring Down the Lines – Midnight Muse

Hello Ladies!

Well our weather was not bad yesterday.  It started our chilly and windy but by the afternoon the wind was gone and the temperature had risen quite a bit.  The next few days are supposed to be very nice with temperatures in the low 60’s by Thursday.  I hope the weather in your area is going to be nice also.

Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  I am the start of the hop.  This week our colors were

Midnight Muse, Rich Razzleberry, Crushed Curry

                                OR
Midnight Muse, Cherry Cobbler, Pool Party

Our added piece this week was to use a sketch from a challenge blog.

I went looking and found a fun simple sketch at Freshly Made Sketches

I thought this would be great to use with the first set of colors.  Since this had 8 circle elements I went looking for my punches to see what I had that was small and would work.  I thought the small butterfly punch would work perfectly.  Here is what I created using this sketch and our colors.

inside of card and envelope

This sketch is perfect for a quick but WOW card.  Whomever gets will surely smile when they open the envelope.

Now it is time to hop on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what sketch she used and which colors she chose.  Thanks for visiting me today.

  1. Super. I love the butterflies instead of the circles. A nice clean and happy card. Great sketch, and great challenge. Hugs

  2. I love this, Robbie!Great choice on the punch!

  3. It was a hard choice but I would have made the same color decision. And the tiny butterflies are so sweet…love the gold Bakers Twine at the top. Of course love our new Alligator stamp set too!
