Coloring Down the Lines – new idea

Good Morning Ladies!

Today I have a busy day.  I am taking my sister to the doctors in Baltimore.  It will be an all day event.  I am taking my knitting so at least while I am waiting at the doctors I can make good use of my time.

Well today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  I am the start of the hop.

We have decided to change things up a bit.  We are going to be using a website that has beautiful pictures with colors from the picture.  We have determined the Stampin’ Up Colors that best match the color swatches from the picture.  We will be using some or all of the colors for our creations.  Our first Color Seed was from Liz

Our added piece this week was ribbon.  We were to use ribbon on the card.

I went looking for a sketch that I thought would be fun to do.  I loved the sketch this week at Create with Connie and Mary.

I wanted a clean and simple background as the main layer had the color.  I chose to use a white card base and mask off the left side.  I then used the flower stamp and stamped the side with the 2 purples.  I added a strip of ribbon and the card base is complete.  Here is my final creation.
