Coloring Down the Lines – Night of Navy

Happy Wednesday Stampers!

We moving right along with our color coach challenges.  We have completed all the Brights Collection and only have a few colors left in the Regals Collection.  I don’t know about you but I love seeing what the other ladies have come up with.  Each creator approaches the colors so differently.

This week our challenge was to use

Night of Navy, Pumpkin Pie, and Cherry Cobbler

OR

Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, and Old Olive

I chose to use the second set of colors.  I saw a great sketch over at Stamping 411 that I thought would be fun to play with using these colors.

Here is what I created.

inside of card and envelope

I tried a few different things with my card.  To make the “Gratitude” element I stamped Gratitude and then punched it with the Curly Label punch.  I then punched out a Decorative Label punch and layered the 2.  To make the wavy horizontal piece I took a piece of cardstock and punched 1 side with the scallop edge border punch.  I then cut the piece to about 3/4″ and offsetting the scallops I punched the other side.  I cut my strip of cardstock longer than I needed so I had some room to play with the punch to get it right.  I love this wavy element and will be using it again.

Now it is time to head on over to Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate to see what she did with colors.  Then finish out the hop to check out our other creations.

Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
