Good Morning Ladies!
Well in 1 week I will be in California visiting my youngest. I am so excited about the trip but I have 3 graduate classes I am teaching that start the week of August 26th. It is a good thing I will have a few down days while Michaela is working to work on them. I am trying to get as much done before I go as I can. I hope I can get a lot done so I basically have to work on my syllabus!
Today is our Coloring Down the Lines blog hope. We have a few ladies who will be creating for our hop this week so make sure you follow the Lines to see what they created. This week our colors were
Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie, Cherry Cobbler
Old Olive, Soft Suede, Crushed Curry
I loved the idea of using Cherry with Old Olive but could not wrap my head around the Pumpkin so I went with the second color combo.
One of the sets we got at Convention was Gorgeous Grunge. I have to tell you Grunge is not my favorite and I wasn’t sure how I was going to use it. I decided to see if I could use it for this challenge and make it more my style. You will have to let me know what you think. Here is what I created.

So are you ready to see what the other ladies created and which color combo they chose? You next stop is Amanda’s blog – Our Crafty Playdate. I am sure she has created something fabulous for you! Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!
Robbie
Robbie, this is pretty…I didn't get that stamp set yet, but it's growing on me. I think it is really a good backdrop set that is really versatile. thanks for the inspiration,, and safe trip. Hugs
Very pretty Miss Robbie!!!
Looks great, Robbie! Grunge looks good on you!
I like it, Robbie. The flowers are gorgeous and the grunge adds a nice touch — dirt? I happen to like that stamp a lot. Great challenge.
Robbie, I understand your feeling about the Grunge stamps, because initially I felt the same way. But after seeing lots of examples of its use, I have changed 100%. And your card only adds to my attraction to them. Thanks for pushing through, and giving us a lovely example.
