Coloring Down the Lines – Open Sea

Hello Everyone!

Can you believe it is July 1st?  What will you be doing for the holiday?

I hope you are able to stay cool in this heat. I have been spending the morning at the pool and then we have relaxed in the afternoon.  It has been nice. I am not certain what I will do today as my friend has an appointment. I am sure I can keep myself busy.

Today is the Coloring Down the Lines blog hop.  This week our colors were chosen by Helen

Stampin’ Up color matches

When I saw these colors I thought it would be fun to make a water scene and use the scallops die to make waves.  I sponged on some color to make the water.  Then I cut the scallops out and glued them to the paper.  I stamped my ship on another piece of paper. I used the oval framelits to cut it out and added it to my card front.  I stamped a sentiment and cut it out and added it to the card.  Here is my finished project.

Half of our members are on vacation this week so we have a short hop.  Head on over to Helen’s blog – Blue Dahlia Designs to see which colors she used.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I hope you have some fun plans for today. Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
