Coloring Down the Lines – Pacific Point

Good Morning Everyone!

It is time for our Morning Chat groups Coloring Down the Lines color challenge.  We are using the color coach and “coloring down the lines”.  This week we were to use

Pacific Point, Real Red, Pumpkin Pie

OR

Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Rich Razzleberry

I saw on CherylAnne’s blog a card she did where she used reinkers and vellum.  I went looking on You Tube and found a video explaining how to do the technique.  The problem was the reinkers were alcohol reinkers and not ours.  I decided to play with our reinkers and see what I could make.

I cut 2 pieces of vellum and used the blending tool to stamp the first piece.  This one turned out heavy so I decided to stamp the other piece.  I started but I wasn’t getting the look I wanted to I added some blending solution.  That worked and the second piece was very nice.

I used the first piece to make my flowers and the second piece for the panel on the left.  Here is my creation.

I hope you enjoyed my card.  Now it is time to hop on over to Amanda’s blog to see what she did with our color challenge.  Thanks for looking and have a Wonderful Wednesday!

  2. Very lovely Robbie! These colors go so well together and you chose a beautiful design to represent them and the technique you used.

  3. I like this technique, and it looks like you worked it all out, because the end result is really very pretty. Good job with the challenge, now I'm off to see what everyone else did.
